Pedro del Hierro draws inspiration from the connection its creative directors, Nacho Aguayo and Alex Miralles, have with the seas, especially the Mediterranean and the Cantabrian, blending their roots with the essence of Mar de Frades and the Atlantic. It is not only a tribute to maritime heritage and artistic creativity but also an invitation to savor art in every glass.

The personality of Caprile, the leading couturier of Spanish high society, is perfectly reflected in this baroque-inspired label. Its characteristic red in combination with the blue of the iconic Mar de Frades bottle, transports the Atlantic universe of Mar de Frades to the strength of the waves.

Moises Nieto

The connection between fashion and sustainability is a key concept in this new edition of Edición Limitada by Moisés Nieto. Winner of the National Fashion Award in 2017 in the ‘New Value’ category and winner of the Vogue Who's On Next competition, he is the creator of the label for Mar de Frades Edición Limitada 2021. This edition features a fresh and meticulous concept, inspired by delightful after-meal moments under the Atlantic breeze. The design is visually striking: a beautiful gingham pattern evokes the sensuality and pleasure of gastronomy. At the same time, its seductive texture naturally leads to a wave emerging amidst the relief of the squares.

Designers Antonio Burillo and Juan Carlos Fernández provide the black-tie outfit for our Mar de Frades Limited Edition. Its creators have taken inspiration from the mysteries of the sea and wine to bring us a product of essential elegance and luxury. The design is at once fleeting, timeless and eternal, like the waves that observe the Albariño vines.

In 2018, Mar de Frades commissioned the design of this special edition by Ana Locking, a designer whose long-standing international career has an unmistakable cutting-edge style with classical roots, and who is a great defender of storytelling in the world of fashion.

Duyos

In 2016, Mar de Frades entrusted the design of its new Limited Edition to the the devout sewing artist Juan Duyos. “My inspiration lies in the immense Atlantic and in the fabric of my next collection; silver rhinestones that simulate the crashing of the waves."

Jorge Vázquez

In 2015, the Limited Edition was dressed in haute couture by fashion designer Jorge Vázquez. To create the label, the author travelled to his native Galicia and drew the garden from his childhood, with the intention of transporting whoever sees it to a landscape overwhelmed with flowers.

Alvarno

Mar de Frades by Alvarno is an explosion of colour with geometric elements in repetitive harmony that reveals the distinctive blue essence of this Albariño. In this Limited Edition, the designers interpret an imaginary sunset through elements from the world of fashion.

Miguel Palacio

Palacio intertwines the waves of the Atlantic with Albariño in this limited edition: "In my collections, there is always a quest for volumes with draping, bows, etc. I like to see how the fabric envelops, shaping the silhouette... just like the Atlantic breeze with the Mar de Frades vineyards," says the designer.
